We stand behind every product we sell. If you're not happy with your purchase, here's how to get your money back.
30-day money-back guarantee
You have 30 days from the date you received your order to request a refund. After 30 days we're unable to offer a refund.
To qualify:
- The item must be in the condition you received it.
- For traps and lanterns: the device must be functional (not destroyed). Mild wear is fine.
- For Bti Discs: unused, unopened pack. Single discs already used are non-refundable, but if the pack doesn't work as described we'll replace it.
How to start a refund
- Email support@wehatemosquitos.shop within 30 days of delivery.
- Include: order number, the item, the reason, and a photo if the item arrived damaged or doesn't work.
- We reply within 1 business day with next steps and (where applicable) a prepaid return label.
You do not need to ship the item back for refunds under €30 — we'll refund without return on small items. For larger refunds we may ask you to ship the item back, in which case we cover return shipping.
Damaged or defective on arrival
- Photograph the package and product before unboxing further.
- Email us within 7 days of delivery.
- We send a replacement at no cost — no need to ship the broken one back.
Wrong item shipped
If you got the wrong product, that's on us. Email us with a photo, we ship the correct item immediately, and you keep the wrong one or donate it.
Lost in transit
If your order shows "delivered" but you didn't receive it, first check with your neighbours and household. If still missing after 48 hours, email us. We file a claim with the carrier and either reship or refund.
Refund processing
Approved refunds are credited to your original payment method within 5–10 business days of approval. Some banks take an additional 2–5 business days to post the credit. Shop Pay, Apple Pay, and Google Pay refunds typically arrive within 24 hours.
Sale items, bundles, and subscriptions
- Sale items are refundable under the same 30-day window.
- Bundles (e.g. Whole-Yard Kit) — partial refunds available; we refund the unused items at their bundle-pro-rated price.
- Subscriptions — pause or cancel anytime in your account, or by emailing us. No early-termination fee. The last shipped order remains refundable per this policy.
Non-refundable items
- Gift cards.
- Items used commercially or for resale (we sell to consumers, not for B2B).
- Custom or personalised items.
International orders
International customers (outside Latvia) are covered by this same policy. We pay return shipping for damaged or defective items; for non-defective returns the customer covers return shipping. Refunds are issued in the original currency.
